Ticking Grave – Lindenberg – This grave makes a ticking noise, and is said to have been the inspiration for Edgar Alen Poe’s short story “The Tell Tale Heart”.

Tower Hill Road – Cumberland – This dark, windy road is the home of the ghost of both a little boy and a little girl. It’s said they died in car accidents here. Visitors often find that their electronic equipment stops working.

The Bridgewater Triangle – Bridgewater – This triangle of land is said to be a popular gathering point for UFO’s, strange animals, and a Bigfootlike creature.

The Barnum Museum – Bridgeport – This funky museum is a tribute to PT Barnum and all of his odd exhibits. Come and see all of the showman’s work at its glory.
OCALA, FL
The Big Tree – Longwood – At 3,500 years, this tree is by far the oldest living thing in Florida. It’s also been in a heated battle with a tree in Louisiana for many years over which is the biggest Cypress in the world.
CHAPEL HILL, NC
Haw River Animal Crossing – Bynum – The property of Clyde Jones is covered in his creations – wooden animal carvings created with a chainsaw. The spectacle seems strange and it is – but that hasn’t stopped Jones from becoming one of the movers and shakers of the folk art scene.
LAGUARDIA, NY
Coney Island Boardwalk – With both a Freak Show, a bizarre museum, and the paintball based game “Shoot the Freak”, Coney Island has plenty to offer the lover of the bizarre.

Headless Horseman Bridge – Tarrytown – Visit the sites the Headless Horseman called home in Washington Irving’s legendary tale of Sleepy Hollow. His bridge is clearly marked, and the nearby cemetery would give even the bravest adventurer chills.

The High Bridge Incident – Nearby High Bridge is one of NJ’s most famous spots for UFO sightings. Howard Menger saw a UFO here decades ago, and it’s been regarded as a hotspot ever since.

Carbon County Jail - Jim Thorpe - Now a historic site, this jail is home to a curious legend. A member of the Molly Maguires was sentenced to die here, and he placed his hand on the wall while proclaiming his innocence. That handprint can still be seen today, hundreds of years later!
CAMBRIDGE, MA
The Andover Rock Pile - Andover - Just a half hour north of Boston is the Andover Rock Pile ñ a strange assemblage of stones of unknown origins. With underground passages and entrances, many say this mound resembles a turtle.
